PROs was created in 1997 by company President Ronda Williams as a means to provide assistance to clients in the apartment industry for those challenges that typical property management office personnel may not have the time or expertise to handle.
PROs began by specialty leasing for existing properties that were experiencing occupancy issues in Charlotte, Matthews, Winston Salem, Greensboro, Greenville, and Gastonia, North Carolina as well as Richmond, Virginia. We also began providing temporary apartment professionals for properties that were understaffed.
In 1998 PROs began opening new development projects. Over the next five years we successfully opened new properties in Fort Mill, Lake Wylie, Kernersville, Wilmington, Jacksonville and Charlotte, North Carolina. We also performed fee management for a new development community.
PROs grows to become a premier resource for Charlotte Property Management, Apartment Leasing, Specialty Leasing and Apartment Lease-up Needs
In 2000, PROs branched out even further, and began:
- performing feasibility studies
- taking apartment industry training and education on the road for some of our clients
- performing outside marketing and advertising for apartment communities and hotels
- growing our staffing business by providing temporary apartment professionals on a much larger scale
- performing consulting and trouble-shooting for clients who were in need of our assistance.
In 2002, PROs moved into new office space with a modern training center where we are able to offer our clients classes on a multitude of subjects related to apartment industry training and education. We also began to offer permanent placement and have enjoyed a 100% closing ratio with our current Career Placement Coordinator.
In 2005 PROs moved to its current centrally-located facility in south Charlotte. The office, located at 4806 Park Road, has a fully-equipped, state-of-the-art-training center and the latest technology to assist in education. The center is also available for managers' meetings and other client activities.
In 2007 PROs purchased the building at 4806 Park Road as it’s permanent residence of business.
